How we receive/collect data:
We receive personally, identifiable information like names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, etc. (“PII”), from Customer sources, list providers and other industry standard sources in the course of providing services to our Customers.
Cookie/Tracking Technology:
Our websites may use cookie and other internet-tracking technology to collect information from your computer and about your activities on our site. These technologies automatically collect non-PII and potential PII from our visitors' browsers when they visit our site, including but not necessarily limited to, IP addresses, browser types and language, access times, content of any undeleted cookies that a browser previously accepted from us and referring website address. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, understanding how visitors use the site and for monitoring and protecting the security of our site. Cookies can also help customize the site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Non-PII such as aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties in our discretion.
How we use data:
PII will be used by Community Food Bank of Central Alabama to provide services to its Customers. Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, on occasion, may use PII for internal research and analysis in order to improve services to its Customers. Except to the extent required by law, Community Food Bank of Central Alabama does not disclose PII to third parties other than third party service providers and business partners as used in the process of performing services for its customers.
Commitment to Data Security:
Community Food Bank of Central Alabama has taken the needed measures to ensure the security of Community Food Bank of Central Alabama's server and network infrastructure. This includes organizational, technical and physical measures where the infrastructure is located, as well as the software and network security of the devices used in the infrastructure. Community Food Bank of Central Alabama maintains active monitoring of their servers and network. Any possible breaches that could involve leaks of PII to third parties will be immediately reported to Community Food Bank of Central Alabama's Customer, via the contact details provided by the Customer. NOTE: The websites and systems of the Customer, as well as related software maintained by the Customer, is not considered a part of Community Food Bank of Central Alabama's infrastructure and is excluded from this Privacy Policy.
All personnel of Community Food Bank of Central Alabama with access to PII have been trained and instructed on the manners and methods for working with PII. Only authorized employees, agents, third party service providers and business partners (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to PII.
To ensure the security of Community Food Bank of Central Alabama's infrastructure and network, and to be able to investigate malicious activity, we record the following data of all Site Visitors: IP address, User Agent together with the time of visit and the resources accessed. We will not request a consent regarding this information from Site Visitors.
No use of minors' data:
We do not knowingly collect, request or use PII from minors under the age of 16. For our website activity you may opt-out from the collection of non-essential device and usage data on your web browser by managing your cookies at the individual browser level. We make every attempt to adhere to our Customer data where opt-out has been indicated.

We will update this Privacy Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements and other factors. If we do, we will update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Statement.
